Something we are working on with Mayah is independent play. One of the ways she is learning to do this is in Pack-n-play time (aka Playpen). 
Well, here is the end of one of Mayah’s times in the Pack-N-Play. She discovered that she could stand up and peek out, it was so cute!

A lot of times, Sunday is hard because church is a long stretch of time through our morning nap, which causes a ripple effect for the rest of the day and Mayah is tired and cranky.
Well, lately, I’ve been trying to get Mayah to nap during church. It works pretty well sometimes, but it has been pretty much earlier than her nap should be causing her to be tired for her 2nd nap early, which causes her to need a 3rd nap, which is a rare thing! So, this Sunday, I decided to try something new. I found a way to set up her little travel bed in a room not being used that morning and I put her down, fully expecting a short nap, well, I was wrong! Mayah slept her full normal nap time at the church! Yipee! It was such a good day! She came home, ate lunch at the normal time and went down for her nap at the normal time! She was in such a great mood. It was wonderful! Here she is, sleeping away in her peapod!
To top it off, I finally got a good video of Mayah crawling… sorry it is so long!

Lately, bed time has been wonderful. Mayah has even been happy to go to bed every night! It is wonderful. I even took a picture of her as I put her down and I left, turned the light out, and she never made a peep! She has been back to sleeping almost 12 hours a night and it is so refreshing for both of us! I am so glad that we have fallen into such a great routine. She truly is a happy baby. We have our moments, as all babies do, but as long as I am in tune with her needs and I make sure she gets her naps, she is wonderful!
Seriously, I have learned so much about her needs by really paying attention to her cues and going with what she needs, which normally is consistency. I think if I didn’t stay consistent with her, she would not be as happy and “easy” as she many times can be. It has taken a lot of hard work to get to this point, but it is well worth it!
